Pops, if you're looking for a NICE one, check out RCR Metal Fabrication. I just worked one up and it's awesome compared to the usual Summit style cradles.
I get small, heavy pallets and install buttressed uprights made from wood to contact the pan rail.
Sometimes you get lucky and the spacing of the pallet slats is perfect.
Then I buy an $8 harbor freight furniture dolly and rob the $20 worth of casters off of it.
That $8 HF dolly makes a great transmission dolly with zero mods for an auto and the addition of a small 1x2 for a manual.
I stole the buttressed upright idea from a thread on FxBO where a member built one from scratch. I just skipped most of the build by starting with an 18x24 inch (or there abouts) pallet
YY1, That is a great idea and most likely what I will do. Just thought I could push the easy button and some one close would have a extra not in use. Thanks POPS
