FOR SALE 1968 Dodge Charger

Hey guys Iisting my 1968 Dodge charger 383 vinyl top A/C car. I won't say numbers matching because I can't seem to find any vin number on the block. It has the casting date and code but that's all. Also the carb was changed from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel. everything works every light every switch the clock the tac. This is a complete car very nice driver it was repainted some time in the 80s but it still looks great I'm asking for $44900usd I have alot more pics and information the car is located in Vancouver BC Canada and can be brought to Blaine WA border to help with shipping

Not all 68 mopars had the V.I.N. stamped on the engine and trans. If it is there it would be at the back of the engine on the top of the flange that the tranny bolts to. The trans would be stamped right across from the engine stamping. They are usually on the drivers side.

Was it maybe sitting in a barn for a while, too?

All 68 models have a VIN stamped on top of the engine driverside where it is bolted to the tranny except early 68 Hemi cars.

Not trying to mislead anyone took survivor out of the title and description it is a nice clean car looks to be mostly original

I don't mean to flog a dead horse, but there should be a stamping right in front of the passenger side head on the block's machined deck surface. It can be very faint, covered in paint etc. A 1968 383 would have D 383 with an assembly date stamped below. Month- day. This date should preceed the car's scheduled production date. Ķeeping in mind that the s.p.d. is not necessarily the actual build date.
