Hi all,

My name is Greg and I finally decided to join instead of just peep in your site for info.

Just picked up a 64 Polara 500 project. You know how it goes. I had one year ago, sold it way too cheap, and finally found a good deal on a project.

Picked it up in the hills above Bakersfield. The story goes it has never left that area. Have dealer plates and black CA plates that help the story. Driver for years, barn stored 18 years, 2nd guy bought it, drove it then started project he never finished. In a garage the last 7 years. Now I have it! If the story is true, great. If not, still looks like I ended up with a clean slate! I look forward to applying a lot of the knowledge in this forum on my build.

Welcome,
SWEEEET!
Love the rear deck lid on a 64.
Looks like you can shine that baby up nice.

Welcome. That looks like a great car to work with

Looks like a very solid project. I love the 64's look. They had the coolest bucket seat interior then too. If yours doesn't have that it would be a great upgrade. Welcome from Alabama.

That's one of my favorite early Mopar bodies!!!

What are your plans? Full resto? Driver build? What motor/trans?

WOW, that car looks clean. Definitely going to be sharp.
