can you tell me why are you guys going to 17 inch rims, doesnt that mess up your speedometer?
everyone can have there thoughts on wheels and tires, but me i am looking at old school muscle car looks on cars for the period the cars was made.Well of COURSE there's still choices in 15" rims! Folks are running 295 width and such on the rears of them without
suspension modifications, after all. I have 275's on mine and they look like they came on the thing.
These old rascals look their best with some sidewall to 'em. Ricer wheels/tires belong on...well, ricers IMO.
These aren't Hot Wheels or model cars, after all.

To each their own, your car looks great and I do love the 15" look as well but I sure like a firm feel in the corners. Just to clear up the "ricer wheel/tire" comment, I'm pretty sure if you look around at ALL the newer cars they ALL run a very significantly shorter sidewall even trucks and for good reason... they handle better!Well of COURSE there's still choices in 15" rims! Love your car, perfection!I'd hardly say my car is a "ricer"... I raced on the 15" wheels, and now with 18" wheels. I've upgraded brakes and suspension, and I run the track 11 seconds faster now.
Big difference. When I first went to 18" wheels, I wasn't sure I'd like it. Now I think they're right at home on the car.

I want to get the stock look for my 70 Roadrunner by adding a set of Magnum 500s and New tires. Any suggestions on tire and rim size ? I was leaning towards 15 inch rims but could appreciate some suggestionseveryone can have there thoughts on wheels and tires, but me i am looking at old school muscle car looks on cars for the period the cars was made.
Here is a couple shots of my car. It currently has American Racing wheels 15 inch 70s on the front and 60s on the back . Not a fan of the current tire/rim combo that's why I am asking for some input on hanging back to a stock look

What GPS system do you use?Ummm... a question with obvious answers? We want better handling, bigger brakes and like the looks although mine are 18"s and 19"s. I cheated on the speedo though, my speedo runs off of GPS.. accurate no matter what I do.
