who's still driving

I took the 64 Belvedere out for a drive yesterday. I will not tuck it away for the winter untilll we get snow that stays.

same here the longer you drive them the better it is for the car.
this winter no major projects on the car just some tweaks here and there

Still driving mine although we've been getting plenty of rain and I don't feel like washing it for a little joy ride. I never completely put mine away but don't drive on salty roads, we get some clean roads throughout the winter.

****, there are snowflakes on the roads here 365 days a year and not a god damned one of them knows how to drive a car let alone what makes one work.

I m sad putting my girl away , on the other hand im happy I get to work on her to fix the things I don't like

Put the Belvedere to sleep over a month ago. Plan to change the oil and put the Satellite to sleep this Friday or Saturday. I usually hold out until Thanksgiving but this year winter seems to be coming early.

We have a giant Mopar gathering at Hooters on RT.110 in Farmindale, N.Y. the weekend of Thanksgiving. Its always a big turnout our club puts on every year "Long Island Mopars"its cold and windy but there's half naked girls serving wings and beer inside, we have a 50/50 drawing and a raffle. here one of the shows

Just got back from a little cruise just to a friends house about an hour each way . It was fun and remembering how crappy our headlights are in the dark compared to the new cars .

Yesterday. 400 mile weekend.

I still drive mine though out the winter months sometimes in Dec, Jan, Feb. Here in Mich we get some weird weather some years. Sometimes no snow on the ground when you would expect it. Once we get enough for salt on the roads I usually won't bring it back out until the big spring rains come in to rinse away all of the road salt.

Still running when its dry.
But my paint guy text today, said they are ready for it.
Maybe next week I will drop it off for the winter.

I bought Halogen headlights from Summit that bolt right in with zero mods except relays, just as good as my new cars now.

Saw a beautiful sublime '71 Cuda 'vert with white billboard lettering cruising around town this afternoon. Looked about identical to this and certainly sounded like a Hemi. Beautiful car.

Out here on Long Island They put down so much salt the streets look purple from the dye added to the salt !!
The'll be no drivin till the rains come.

This time of year da up nort folks envy the down south and far SW west folks who have warm weather...I have enough fixin work I'm doing on my old ride anyway in my heated garage so I can drive it come spring...if my fixin work gets done right. In a rush right now though as I was invited to put my car in an indoor car show this month so some hurry up work for that before finishing up the other stuff before spring.
