1969 Plymouth Barracuda Sox & Martin "Ball Stud HEMI"

Very cool, I’m going to have to check that place out one day it’s only a couple hours away

Damn that car is sweet! Dick Landy built my motor years ago and still running like a bat out of hell.

Wasn't that Tom Hoover's car? Thought it was in Mopar Muscle or one of the other rags back when Tom was still with us. Sweet car.

I read an article about it many many years ago and never heard of it again.

so who is Dick Landis? You would think with the pic of Dick Landy right there the museum guy could get it right.

Tom Hoover brought it to the MOPAR show at Vin Devers dodge in Toledo Ohio back in the late 90s when he still had a small block in it.

Hoover had it at Carlisle in 2006. I think he had just recently put the ball stud engine in it soon before that. If I remember correctly Arrington's did a bunch of work on the engine for him??

Here it is in Carlisle, sorry I only took a photo of the engine bay, not the whole car.

Looks like it uses some form of Chevy rocker arms?

Actually John Aruzza built the motor for Tom’s car. I believe that somehow John procured the engine/parts and put it together.
