Hello Everyone,

I'm here to do some research and ask a few questions. As of now I don't own a B-Body, but I am hoping to find a 68' Charger in the spring/summer of 2019. My father owned a one when he was in his 20s, but sadly was in a severe accident that totaled the car. He has always talked about it, even more so now that hes nearing retirement. So I figured it would something fun we could share for the years to come as I am also a big fan of the car and I also really enjoy a good project. His car was a 68' R/T 440 with a six pack swap, 4spd, blue with black top. I'm not planning to find the exact car, or could I afford it, but a 383 4 spd, non numbers matching is more up my alley. I wish I could share a photo but none were ever taken. This will be my first Mopar if I can find what I'm looking for.

It's good to have a solid plan like you do. I found two of my project vehicles on Craigslist. The third I found parked on the side of a country road (with a "for sale" sign) while on my way to visit a relative in a rural state prison. You never know where your next project will be found.

welcome, i hope you can find that dream to share with your dad. does he know what a great job he did raising you. for you to want to do this with your father is a special kind of deal. i'm sure everybody on here will try to help in some way so you and your dad can get the dream done.
