Hi from Florida....Stumbled into a 64 Polara Conv

Nice Polara! We used to live in Palm Coast, now back in Virginia. One of my boys lives in Ormond. Used to go to the Turkey Rod Run every year. Miss being down there

Reminds me of my CA '63 Fury convert find many years ago. Bought it for $5,500 and twenty five years later I have dropped about $40k or so in it. Welcome to da forum. I have gotten so much advice from fellow members restoing my car since I joined a few years ago - seriously couldn't a done it without them!

Looks to be a solid nice car

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

You should drive down to New Smyrna for the Canal St cruise, which takes place every second Saturday of the month......100's of cars every time.
I have done Canal Street.....have a 32 Roadster and a 57 Ranch Wagon too.....Canal St is great!!

Hi just joined.....Retired and usual play with Fords or Chevys, but stumbled into a Dodge deal I couldn't say no to. It was sitting for at least 10 yrs with owner I purchased from.....and apparently many more with previous owner to him. I'm going over it, but it has a 20 year old repaint on it thats starting to fail but is all there and very original....has very minor rust in just a few spots but unbelievably solid .....318 poly with a auto runs fine ....p/s....power seat....am radio that still works and a good power top that works also.....I'm guessing there can't be too many Convertibles left.....says 52,000 mile....unsure if accurate but could be....Thank You Dansdiner

That was a great body style and remember my older cousin, now departed, who bought a '64 426/4 speed brand new at the ripe old age of 18. His dad had co-signed on a '64 Fury 361/auto about six months before but got the itch for the 426. He raced it at the tracks and on the streets. Somehow he convinced his dad to let him get the Dodge because at first he was totally against it. His dad took over the Fury and I got a fun ride in it at around 11 or 12 years old. I said someday I want to have a car like it liking that early B body style. Fast forward 30 years and snagged a nice '63 drop top CA car and still have it...now some $35-40k into making it a cherry nice modern ride and a few more horses. I still miss my '70 Cuda convert I let go around 1980...young and dumb.
