New re chromed bumper to install on my Polara.
Have to remove existing bumper and install new.
What is the best way to do it,can I just remove bumper bolts?
Or do I have to remove the brackets mounted to the frame.
This is on your back work by a senior citizen with some help.

Thanks

on my 65 satellite I would remove it from the frame first, then remove it from the bumper, plus now you can paint the brackets too and make it look all pretty. good luck, Jay.

I got pretty lucky when I removed mine. I pulled the brackets off with the bumper.

Unplug the lights
Remove the large side bolts
Remove the front two bolts and it'll fall off.

Use a couple of layers of masking tape between the bumper and fender to prevent scrapes and scratches.

I really like your car
