Sold my 66 Mustang in November 2017, to buy couple dual sport motorcycles. Now going to sell or trade the bikes for a Mopar.

My first car was a 66 Plymouth Valiant. $50 and grandpa towed it home and we rebuilt it together.

Since then owned a ‘77 Camaro, ‘75 Monza (5.7 liter), Hondas, RX7, ‘68 California Special Mustang, 1959 Cadillac, ‘70 MACH 1, 2001 Cobra and more.

I’ve dreamed of a 1968-70 Dodge Charger, 60’s to early 70’s Barracuda, Challenger or nice B body of some flavor. Time to learn and prepare for one in my life! If you’re in the Southwest and spot one, please let me know!

Thanks guys and gals for hosting, participating and moderating this forum.

Welcome to the site. I'm about an hour away from you. cars in the southwest are completely rust-free as is my Roadrunner

My first car was a $125.00 '65 four-door Valiant. We could probably share some good stories. Mine was a bracket racer when I got it fixed up. New owners need a parachute to slow it down (does about 8 seconds in quarter mile now).

Nice. Yeah mine started humbly with slant six, then discovered Clifford research, 273 and more. Crashed it two weeks before senior year of high school... was still making payments on the paint job. That valiant was the gateway to so many memories and adventures! Thanks Dibbons and others for replies.

Very nice, I’ll try and find foto of mine. Your rear wheels look like Cragars. I was soooo happy to find a set of four Cragar SS wheels that were small bolt pattern in a warehouse in Medford Oregon, that were shipped to me. I recall it was like winning the lottery to find those, as a sophomore in HS.

Yes, those are Cragars (Centerline on the front) on a 1970 Dodge Challenger 8 3/4 rear end with finned brake drums and sure-grip (had 3.55, I went 4.56). So the Cragars are probably large bolt pattern in my case. It was fairly easy back in the '70's to find a wrecked Challenger for parts.
