1964 Plymouth fury basically stock. Does the rear wheel have a dust cap,.. my rear drums may have been replaced (they are 11' finned in the rear, regular 11' in front ) but it doesn't look the rear ones take a dust cap? I'm doing painted wheels with chrome capped lugs and I was planning on getting a finished looking dust caps for all 4 axles. The front two wheels have dust covers and I found a proper sized replacement, but the rear hub doesn't even have a slot for dust caps to fit into. is this normal? my manual doesn't say anything about it. lmk if you need pics

The rears are not designed for dust covers because the bearings are internally sealed whereas the fronts aren't. I personally think it would look silly if you tried to put dust caps on the rear. Just paint the center hubs if you want them to stand out.

Just my opinion.

Tapered rear axles? They actually look pretty cool as in on a steel wheel. But no dust cover on rears.
