I want to replace my front lap seat belts in my 1969 Coronet. Does the large headed bolt just screw into the floor board without a nut under the car? I looked under the car and there does not seem to a nut fastened to the interior bolt so I am assuming it just screws into the interior floor board?
Thanks

I believe you are correct. Under the car there is a welded in support piece of rectangular metal that has a nut part of it.

Yep there's inserts behind the sheet metal. I like to chuck up the 13/16" socket in my cordless drill set it on low gear and spin them out that way

Check to see if they have debris or undercoat on them. Clean the threads before removal......

Yep, they are factory "lock bolts" and take forever to remove unless you use air or electricity.
