Replacing lost broadcast sheet

i have been searching up and down for weeks for this thing in the car and online with nothing but old info to go off of. Unfortunately the Walter P Chrysler Museum is closed. So the shining light for me to get a broadcast sheet is pretty dim.

Is there a place that I can contact to see if there is a micro or anything of my sheet? The car I have is far far from original but it's nice to know what it was. Beyond a 383 superbee out of lynch road

I'm the second owner of my Bee, my Father the first! No build sheet. Fender tag and all the matching body / VIN stamps tells enough of the story for me.

Pretty hard to make a correct broadcast sheet without an old original to go by. You could get it close...

unfortunatly I do not have the fender tag. I am tech the 5th owner of this superbee at a minimum. the org owner, the owner that replaced the 383 to a 440 and got rid of it. the guy my dad bought it from then me. over the years I suspect there was a sheet and maybe a tag around but who knows for sure. the rear seat pulled out real easy not anchored down so I'm guessing it was removed at some point and if it was there its gone.

what I can tell for this car so far.

vin is listed as WM23H9A112651

it was reported by the guy who my dad had it as being a 383 that he wanted to make like his car in highschool ( an A12 )

so it had 2 3rd members, an open diff 3.23 and a cone type suregrip 4.56 (in the old thread/spline set according to the shop I had replace them this summer)

it has a carb air cable and pull in the cab leading us to believed that it was an N96 optioned hood/ram air package. not there anymore due to the A12 style hood.

the inner fender was removed by the previous owner after it rubbed a wall at a race track. it was also reported as to have been painted around this time, I'm guessing a fly by night style shop or home job as the org color is clearly visible in the engine bay and in the inner doors, floor ect.

This car is not meant to be what it isn't I am just trying to dig through the minutia over the 50 year life of this bute of a car. She is getting it's 4th motor right now( I have a LONG story in the project thread about that )

Edit: I called the number from the OLD autotrater mag ad and he told me what he knew about it and said that he couldn't drive it due to the power it made so he wanted it gone. He was hoping to just have his his car back

dont know what they can do since alll mopar documents burned in a fire. Im in the same boat and would love to know what my car had. Only way is go to the last owner and the next owner and so on. Funny that ford and chevy still has there documents. I think there behind all of this.

Like ‘davek’ said above.I threw away my body sheets years ago; as an original owner,I do have the luxury of knowing what it came with. You can get most from the fender tag.

Everything is "absolutely available", question is will it be correct or even close.

Since this thread was started I have learned that I wasted my time, over the past 50 years, looking for broadcast sheets in my Lynch Road car that my Father bought. Lynch Rd cars very rarely had the BS sheets stashed in the car. They went in the garbage can. Other car lines had a "no garbage" policy = sheets left in the car to get rid of them.

Unlikely. Most people selling fake documents don’t care if they are correct. I’m still amazed how people are willing to spend money on fake sheets, window stickers and tags that are not even close to correct.

Two sheets for the same car may not code the same. What makes people think buying a sheet from some guy on eBay will be remotely “correct”?

LR sheets aren’t that hard to find. LA sheets are.

Oh ya you can buy them on the internet but the original for your car is the only correct one. If you don't have your original or even a fender tag you are probably sunk if factory information isn't available. Contact Hamtramck Historical. They may be able to help.
