Anyone paint a car recently in this color? What paint did you use? Any pictures? I can't find much online in this color. Was it a very low production color, I know it was a 1 year only, is the F6 from 1969 similar? or same? GG1 is called medium race green metallic. I have just bought a 68 Coronet R/T, that was originally this color, not now, but would like to paint original color.
Show me those GG1 cars.

I saw this car, but I couldn't see anywhere that it was GG1 on the online pics I saw. I hope it is, it looks nice. My car is black interior.

That's GG1? Alot darker than I thought it would be. What brand paint did you use? 2 stage I'm assuming..
 
For 68 GG1 is the darker green like you have on the other car in post 2.
 
From reading some of these threads, I side with paint shops often missing it by 2 or 3 shades, and the true GG1 color is confused with the darker F8. I would love to see an original 1968 GG1 painted car in the sun, In person.

This was my car and painted by yours truly in GG1.
Note: the car received 3 coats of color over a black sealer. It can look darker under certain lighting conditions and brighter in the sunlight.

Love that color and car. Looking for a factory bulge hood for mine now, before I paint it. I see there hard to come by. Hoping AMD will put some out in there near future. My car should be the twin to yours with black stripe and black interior, Hard top. I like the vinyl tops on these cars better, but I will take what Chrysler has gave me.
What do you have for tire and wheel size on this car? 8 on back and 7 on front?

Here's what my notes say since I cannot remember.
Rims = 15 x 8 with 4.5” backset
Tires:
Front = 235/70R15 28” diameter 6.6” wide
Rear = 260/70R15 28” diameter 10.24” wide

Looking for the person that originally owned/painted this car. I believe I may be the current owner of this car that I recently purchased in California. I have heard it may have been originally from Virginia. Maybe my car is not this one, but looks nearly exactly the same. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I believe I may be the current owner of the car that you posted with the white top. I was wondering if you have any information on the car. I purchased my car in California, but the dealer did not provide any background on the car. Through another person I learned that it may have been for sale in the Virginia area about 3-4 years prior. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
