$500- 68 charger

Also, one other thing I'd do different is bend the rear bars or buy them prebent to go thru the package tray so you can still have a back seat.

I looked on here, but could not find, what, where, who did you get your roll bar, I REALLY don't want to put one in my Charger, BUT, the car runs times well below the rules requiring a roll bar.
After a little more searching I think I found the bar kit I got. It says it's for RRs and coronets but I'm fairly sure it fits chargers also. Note that this link is for just the hoop and the rest is another part #. Wasn't like that when I bought mine.

or I'll bet you could bypass jegs and just call Comp Engineering and get the bent rear bars, swing out door bars, etc..

I changed my mind about waiting on the front carpet., I'll just be real careful with it as far as dirt/grease, etc.. I think I'm going to go ahead and put the driver seat in also, just so I can sit in it for motivation.lol.. I used a solder pen poking thru from underneath to locate and open up all the seat, e-brake, and go pedal bolt holes. I'm not cutting the sides of the carpet till I get the seat in. I'll just put bolts in the passenger side seat holes for now, till I get it running.

Looks great but those seats need to be higher. I ordered 2 sets of the universal seat mount & doubled them up to make them like a rectangle & used the slides that came with the seats.

I must be taller than you because if mine were any taller my head would be hitting the ceiling, thanks anyway. The way I did mine is adjustable up and down also, as needed.

How tall are you LOL, I'm 6' I have about 6" head room, if I was lower it would be hard to see over my dash pad & then my hood scoop.

I have been wondering what the difference is because I'm 5'11". The only things I can come up with is 1- I'm kinda long waisted and short legged, maybe your opposite that. 2- My seat is very firm and maybe yours sinks down more. 3- I like my seat back fairly upright, you may like to lean back more. or 4- A combination of 1-2 & 3... But anyway here's a pic of how much head room I have, just enough for a helmet., the pic is backwards due to selfie mode.

Now that you have a seat it's time to start spitting on the dash making Vroom Vroom noises:lol:.

Great to see it moving along, love that red carpet!

I got the door panels all finished, and I thought I'd show a couple of tricks I used on them. Since I changed my door opener handle set-up and to be accurate I transferred the spots for the handle holes by putting a tad of silver paint on the ends of the shafts and then pressed the panel against them. I used a dremel and a box knife to cut the holes. I also trimmed/cleaned up the bunched-up/excess vinyl on the inside of the corners of the panels by cutting some off, melting a little, and then squeezing them flat with duck bill pliers.

I put plugs in all the holes in the doors and I found some small 1/4" black hole plugs at Lowes to fill the holes where the upper door panel pads would clip to., I won't be buying any of those pads, for a while anyway. I finished installing the tail light wiring and new bulbs also.

Happy Thanksgiving All.. I made a firewall for the trunk that bolts in on top of the rear roll bar mounts and goes up to under the front of the package tray. I put some seam seal around the edges to prevent rattle and seal.
