It's time to replace the door panels and the inner whisker things that go up against the window glass. I am getting a little aprehensive about the installation. The outer door whiskers just screwed on, these inner ones don't. I have a package of loose staples that came with the product. Now what? Thank you.

Almost impossible to replicate the factory staples. On my Coronet I popped in rivets - get the smallest available from Harbor Freight. Once they're in you can't see them and they lie beneath the felt so the windows won't scratch.

I did something similar. Mine came with sheet metal screws but I switched them out for small nuts and bolts. I think they were a size 6

I sat down at the picnic table in my garage and drilled all the holes I deemed necessary through the "fuzzys" and the steel door panel top and installed the furnished staples-bent over with tools. I used small Vise Grips to keep the units tight and some spring clamps as well. They turned out great and the staples are only visible if you look for them.
