Currently have a clock and want to upgrade to a tach. Good working condition preferred.

Is hard to find an original one by itself. Easier on a full cluster and usually unkown conditions

Repros are available thought, but 8K scale instead 7K like originals are. I think they are autometer inners.

drop top your in box is full. I have a brand new in the box repro from classic industries, with receipt. Part number MB323
$145 p/s POPS

Pops, thanks for the reply and inbox is now empty. I want to try and find an original if I can. Sorry, I should have put that in the original post. I will keep your contact info if I can not find a suitable original and decide to go reproduction.

I had an mint original factory 7k unit that I sold on Ebay a few years back for over $500 - It was perfect , just the tach

The repo 8k units , personally I just think look horrible along side factory original gauges

Yeap, well, it could be a mix of parts... 74 bezel, 73 the rest ( I can't recall a 74 with 150 miles speedo nor a 73 with iconed bezel ), but the tach is the same for all years, and includes harness

You could get it, install your clock on it and resell it on maybe $500-600... that is if you are agree on pay that price. I think $800 is too much anyway for a cluster with craked bezel and untested gauges no matter if with tach.

Interesting things on that cluster is still got all the pieces... wiper knob uses to be lost. It easy to get it loosen from switch.

Speedo could be 74 still being 150 miles if high lights indicator is blue instead red!

I think the 1334 on back of cluster is a date code?. Maybe the last 4 there is the year?

Whatever, that's not the discussion here LOL

drop top,There is a factory tachometer on e bay here is the listing number 362269383023.He wants $250 for it. POPS

The point I was trying to make , you might have to buy the complete assembly just to get the tach , because a lot of vendors don’t want to separate a complete cluster , when the tach is same for all years 71-74

Anyways , that’s all

Yeah, I saw this but it is untested and working condition unknown. Glen and Dana usually have good parts but I feel like it is to much for the risk of it having to be refurbished.

That's the tipical price for an unknown conditions tach! Working conditions can reach double of that

I bought my tach here on the board, with a complete dash minus the harness.Still sent it off to Gary (Tachman) to have it updated for modern ignition systems.I guess that’s why they reproduce them now, much cheaper to buy the reproduction if your not doing a restoration.
