Hi all, seeing if there are any recommendations for Mopar shops near the Stevens Point area in Wisconsin. The 3.91 gear and lack of working fuel gauge would prefer that I keep it in a reasonable distance.

What are you looking to get done?

There will probably be a number of things down the pipe so the question is a bit general. In the somewhat near future I would like to get my carb tuned, some aluminum heads put on and some paint.

Any suggestions for either a builder or painter would be beneficial. I plan to ask around at car shows in the spring but if I can get any work done over the winter, I would like that.

I've heard kilpatricks does a decent job but they're a bit farther out than i think you're looking for. Not sure about the Green Bay region as I'm from the Southeastern WI area.

Kilpatrick is in Milwaukee - which is closer to Chicago than Stevens Point. Are you in Point or Chicago?

Being from Baraboo Wisconsin originally, I can't remember where Stevens Point is, but If you want a top shop, Check out Ringbrothers in Spring Green, Wisconsin. I don't know if this is close to you or not. ( I don't Know **** Ha!) These guys can do it all. They have built many high end cars and hot rods. In the December 2018 issue of Muscle Machines they built a very cool 69 Charger.

Looks to be about 90 miles away. I pass signs for Baraboo on the way up. Some sort of log cabin furniture store billboard. Can make the trip a twofer.

Spring Green is about 25 miles from us. I talke to a couple of guys and came away with the impression they won't touch a job unless it is $100k+. I have seen some of there stuff and it is awesome. Maybe I will take a ride down and see what they have to say.

Thanks.
