Looking for a 1969-75 International Travelall. The Charger is pretty much done and the next one needs to be more family friendly.

Feel free to post links, PM, comment, etc. Closer to WI the better.

Thanks!

I have a <100K, Flame Red and White, 1974 TA 4x4, model 100 with Custom interior and exterior. It is a HD 1/2 ton with the Tow Package. 392/Thermoquad/904 Auto/ Dana 60 rear/44 front, 3.73 gears. The transfer case is a one speed, in/out sort of thing that is operated with a pull knob/cable on the dash. These were built for pulling Air Streams and with the 392 and 3.73's, no low range is needed. The Tow package includes A/C, Transmission Cooler, Large radiator, 12" discs in front, and wiring harness for an Airstream type camper.
I have owned it for 30 years and have been thinning the herd. My goal is to whittle it down to my 66 Charger, my 74 200 Camper Special, and Spitfire V8.
TA's ride very smoothly and quietly, the seats are like nice couches. The interior is red. The 392 is a strong powerplant that pulls things effortlessly. It has never been in an accident, but has scrapes and dings and a few rust spots down low in the rear and over the windshield. I cut panels from a rust free pickup to make the down low repairs, but never installed them. One of its two tanks has been stripped and sealed with the filler hose replaced.
Everything works, including the electric rear window, except the gas gauge doesn't work after the tank repair. Tires are good, on 15x7 Factory Rallye Rims. They all came with hubcaps, but the Rallyes from a later Scout look very good on them.
Haven't driven it in a while, so I'm pretty sure I will have to clean the carb to make it a vehicle that can be driven to WI from the Black Hills of South Dakota. Won't be the first time. That's why I need to thin the herd. The photo is older. I will get a current photo, but right now, it is covered with a freezing rain/snow we got last night. Get ready, it's heading your way.
I think $4K is a fair price for this truck, but I am serious about finding a better home for it.
