I have a HEMI in my RR and am looking to replace the rockers with roller tip rockers.
I am wanting to get some suggestions from others before I pull the trigger.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Curious why? I know there easier on valve guides.

I understand they are easier on the valve guides and may hold the valve lash a little better.

Plus they just look good when the covers come off.

I am liking the Stage V rockers but want input from someone experienced in running roller tips.

The only rocker arms to consider are Stage V period! Everything else is Chinese, even the Mopar replacements now are chinese. The Stge V pieces are top quality. The roller tips serve to avoid developing a flat spot. Indy has a set made for them, maybe good, i just have only seen them and can't speculate.

StageV is the only way to go short of the Ray Barton setup or Jesel. The Indy stuff isn’t real good even on their own heads using their stands.

i heard that, did not want to say. Jessel and Barton stuff is great but 6000.00 is a bit tuff for many for street hemi
That Barton deal was $3800 last time I checked which is pricey but it’s really nice stuff. I didn’t have any lash issues with that setup. I used the Indy set on this build because I had them. I’ll probably buy another RBRE setup before it gets put in the car.

As for Stage V is there a good place to purchase besides them? I would want the complete assembly stands and all.

I have the Barton's (T&D's) on my 528" Hemi. No issues with mine.

1.6's since it is a street car. I may get some larger ratio's later on down the road to increase some list & make a little more power. I will have to dome some figuring to see what I can use due to push rod clearances & what my P to V will be.

Marsh performance also has the stage v in stock. Super nice guy to talk too also. I would have bought from him if I went with the stage v’s instead of the Barton’s.

What’s the deal with the anodizing? My 1.6’s were red and black. I’ve seen the Barton setup in every color imaginable with no rhyme or reason including plain aluminum. Must be using whatever color T&D has going that week....

I don’t think he even anodizes them colors anymore. Guess cost?
Mine are plain

My buddies are red, probably about 12 years old

The colors were specific batches initially. I believe all of the newer batches are no longer anodized at all and now come plain (raw) alum.

How long ago did you buy yours? They’re listed at $3700 on his site. I wonder if that price is current? Not looking forward to this purchase.... ugh.
