"Pulled the trigger" on this after seeing it on Wednesday at a pawn shop

.

Was originally marked $450, but had Black Friday price of $300.

I looked them up online and found $799 new retail.

One of those things that you want but don't necessarily need...unless it's a smokin' bargain.

Here's a shot of me actually "pulling the trigger".

No, the guy that pawned it stole it. :poke:

Nice, I wouldn't pass that up either. Guess I need to start visiting the pawn shop every once in awhile.

They actually had three plasma cutters at that shop.
Can't say I've ever seen that before.

One was a generic chinese priced the same, the other was a thermal dynamics priced at $450.

I had a bad experience with a thermal dynamics a few years ago- quit working and tech support was no help at all despite actually carrying on a decent conversation with me via email. Could not even suggest where to start troubleshooting- really?

This time I went for the one with major market presence and lots of units sold.

It's a nice pairing for my Handler 140 welder, which has been nothing but reliable.
