I'm having problems removing the side door glass window. After removing the door panel I can see what looks like 1 Bolt in the bottom center of the glass. Is this what keeps the glass in while riding on the side tracks? How do you get the bolt out? After raising the window slightly I can feel some kind of nut behind it but no wrench fits it. What am I missing?

I don't know a lot about '67's.....but yes, that ONE nut holds the window in. At least in '70, it is supposed to be a plastic push-in plug that has a plastic push-in "pin" that comes in from the back to keep the fingers of the plug spread.

Oh yeah, at the top of the vent window corner, there are two screws. The top one holds in a little rubber corner piece & just below that, another screw holds the window division channel (back of vent/front of window) to the vent window frame. You need to remove both screws & you can pull the window channel back about 1/2" which gives you enough room to slide the window up/out past the top vent window corner.....or just take out the vent window & frame first.

You should be able to access that bolt (agree should be a plastic push fastener) through the large rectangular opining in the sheet metal, after raising the window sufficiently.

You'l probably need something on the other side.

Careful, it goes though the glass.

IIRC there's also a plastic or felt covered metal block down there as well.

I've used boat hull drain expansion plugs (black rubber with molded in brass threaded insert) to replace those plastic push fasteners. Lowes has them.
