When taking the car apart, I noticed there are two different sizes of rear window trim clips -- the smaller one for the top and bottom -- larger one for the sides. The picture shows the correct reproduction (smaller clip) for the top and bottom and an original that went on the sides. I can't seem to find any vendors who sell the larger side clips. Any suggestions?

I ordered a set off ebay and they worked just fine. The rear kit were all the same size but the front did have large and small. Perhaps somewhere along the way the manufacturers realized the longer ones were not required for the rear window to properly clamp the trim.

I don't know your answer, but those clips "look" like windshield trim clips for a 70 Roadrunner....so "maybe" search for windshield clips & see if they're the same? Maybe try searching "trim clips" at RT Specialties and see what you find?

I'm trying to remember where I got mine......
Check with 521.
I think he would have the correct ones.

Are you doing the windshield?
I found that the (AMD) cowl top for a Charger is the same for later B bodies, except the recesses for the clips are at right angles to the 66-67 and therefore take the later clip set.
In other words, if you cowl is original the later clip set will not work.

Charger rear window bottom clips were virtually impossible to find. We ended up with scavenged ones from a parts car. Sides were easy to find, similar to other b bodies. Where did you find the bottom ones?

My issue is exactly opposite of what you're describing. I can find plenty of the top and bottom clips -- can't find the side clips. The side clips are the larger type.

I went to the 521 site (thanks for the suggestion). They have a rear window clip set for 66 / 67 B Body & Coronets -- it says in the description that they're only for the top and bottom of a 66 - 67 Charger rear window. How about that. A vendor that knows something. Still looking for the side clips which are larger.

I had no issue with ordering a rear "set".
Sorry but I don't know for sure where I got it.
I can't swear to it, but I'm pretty sure 521 is where I got the clips.
Because once I figured out I needed the later B body package for the cowl, I remember talking to someone.
He does know his stuff.
Maybe ask him?

Here you go. looks like this would work for you. I noticed the long ones looked like the ones used on the front windshield. you might email them and get a measurement to verify they are the correct length.

If you can post the actual dimensions of the one that your looking for, I can possibly match it up with all of the clips that we have here. Without actual dimensions or an actual sample, it would be tough to match up.

The large clip (for sides) is 7/8" long x 3/4" wide. The center of the hold is just a hair over 3/8" from the bottom of the clip. The smaller clip (for top & bottom), which they make reproductions of, is 13/16" long x 3/4" wide.

Came across these a few days ago if anyone needs them

I am about to put my rear window in '67 charger. I got new clips along with the weatherstrip from moparparts.com. the clips are all small. do you use different clips depending on the weatherstrip??

The clips should have affect on the weatherstrip. Their only purpose is to hold the stainless steel trim on.
