Checked classic industries, seemed like they had a lot of stuff for the 64 fury wagon (not sure if rear doors are same on a four door model and sw) but they only had door window seal kits for 2 door and convertible models. Where do I find a set for a wagon/ 4 door. they are missing from my car so I need some.

He hasn't been active on the site in almost a month but I'll try him. Not sure if u mean he will know who sells em, or that he may have used ones. I'm looking for a new reproduction source, since it is rubber.

If anyone will know, he'll know or point you in the right direction. '64s are one of his specialties, '62-'65

I'll reach out to him and see what info he has on this. I'm hoping someone makes it, or maybe I'll have to adapt something. I've searched online with no luck so far but maybe I'm not familiar with the common places to look. Maybe these are easy to find for all I know....

For the 63 to 65 B-Body applications, the four door sedan and wagon both use the same style of window felts. The same holds true on the windlace as the quarter glass seals is all that is different than from a four door sedan. The felts will be correct with all of the details of your original felts, no need to modify or adapt to your application. Joe will have the Top Catwhiskers.

The problem is I can't even seem to find a set for a four door, they only have two door sets, I even called classic industries to confirm if they had a four door set or not, and they said they didn't. Maybe I'm missing something like an obvious manufacturer/dealer/website to ask other than classic industries. Also what are the cat wiskers? Do you mean the scrapers ? If anything that is the main part I need to find. I assume the channel felts are somewhat universal between cars of this era so I just need the right legth on those... those are not my main concern. The thing I need is the molded rubber scraper (prefabable new reproduction, not used) for the rear doors. That is specifically what I cannot find.

You are needing what is known as several different names within the industry. Whether it be belt line weatherstripping, window felts, cat whiskers, window fuzzies or window scrapers, you are referring to the same piece that is the inner and outer seal for each door which basically keeps larger pieces of trash from entering into the door cavity at the same time that it finishes the edge of the door and helps a bit from the door glass rattling within the door frame.

Each and every body style have there unique style and as I said earlier, the Top Catwhiskers that we provide to our vendors will incorporate the same attaching clips and placement as your originals. We have tried to source what is the most correct material available to duplicate the factory originals. Some of the felts, we have been able to locate the original vendor for the material while some of them will vary slightly from the originals but will function as the originals.

For the 62 to 65 B-Body product line, we offer 14 different styles to cover the different variations within that time frame and body styles. No need to fabricate anything unless your looking to do something highly custom.

Give Joe a call as he should have some in inventory or drop me a message and we can get your needs covered. Classic carries a variety of vendors products and you have to specifically ask in some instances for a particular brand as the Top Catwhiskers. I know that they carry certain pieces of our product line as they list it under a 63 to 65 Belvedere under the Part Number MB1131 for the four door sedan application.

Thank you! You're correct, the problem with classic industries is the way they label the applications for certain parts. Even if you call them they can't really help because the person on the phone doesnt know the savoys, furys, and belvederes use the same stuff. When I called a few weeks ago they said they didn't have what I needed ( a "1964 fury four door window seal set") even after asking multiple times because I couldn't believe it. 10 min ago I found the set labeled for 63-65 belvedere 4 door and I'm thinking it is exactly what I need. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/mb1131.html. Thanks again for helping clarify this.

I have found this is true for many suppliers/parts. I see most list for a Belvedere, yet it will obviously fit a Fury.
I have also found some 65 mechanical parts fit a 64, where there is nothing listed for a 64, but not all.

The large retailers who operate the call centers do not have vast knowledge of all of the variations within the different product lines. The issue that they struggle with is that in 1965 the Fury fell into the C-Body line while in 64 and back it fell into the B-Body line.

That is why I support the small independent vendors like Joe Suchy who know these cars inside and out. He does not venture out into the other model years and body styles and is focused on the 62 to 65 B-Bodies.

Depending upon the year model and body style that your working on, finding a vendor who specializes in that particular product line may help to prevent some of the headaches of a restoration.

You can give these people a try.

I ended up finding the window stuff, now I'm looking for a door panel set for a 1964 four door

I have a 64 Belvedere blue int and a 64 Fury red int both 4 dr sdns. The Belvedere will be a 4 dr to 2 dr conversion and the Fury is a parts car.

Jeff

Jeff, any chance you can PM me a pic of the door panels off the blue car? I'm in desperate need of a blue set (or at least a light blue drivers front panel) for my 64 Polara.

Was it from that vendor, or somewhere else?

The panels I have are for a 64 Savoy.
