Looking to find a set of stainless wheel well molding for a 68 GTX. I need both the left and right rear pieces.

Thanks

Know if they changed for ‘69? I have a ‘69 set in pretty great shape

Do you know what kind of car they came off of? Classic Industries show 68-70 Plymouth being the same with the exception of the 69 GTX ones being different. If the ones you have are off a Roadrunner or Satellite they might work..

69 x are different from the others....

Mine are from a 69 satellite. You’re talking the wheel well lip chrome right?

Yea I need the wheel lip molding. After seeing that picture those wouldn't work because the GTX ones cover the entire area and don't stop at the molding like those do. Thanks for the picture.

I’m racking my brain for you man. Looking thru some old paperwork trying to find the name of the place where I bought ine for my 68 X. It was up in the N.E. Part of the country and they might have been a distributor for a Georgia based manufacturer if that helps anyone come up with a name. I bought mine about 5 years ago and they were pricey but the fit is good. If I can finally come up with the name I’ll pm you. As an additional thought - something you’re already finding out - the 68 moldings were for that year only - making them harder to find. Some people go without because they don’t grow on trees. I like the look and wouldn’t go w/o unless forced to. I do remember it took some serious hunting to locate them.

I just googled wheel moldings 68 GTX - several places popped up including eBay and Classic Industries. If you haven’t tried that .......

Yea I seen they made new reproduction ones but I wasn't sure of the fit and quality. I may have to go that route though. Thanks.
