The upper pot metal bezel is "peened" on. Mine needs replaced. Is glue the only way to re install a reproduction, or is there a more solid fix?

todays 2 part epoxys are pretty damn strong. more then likely far stronger then any press in place would be.

I drilled down into the handle, tapped it 8-32 and used a screw/washer to hold the bezel.
