Absolute newb to this site. Rebuilding a 69’ Charger a weekend at a time. Bought the car with most of the wiring piled up in the trunk looking like a bad day fishing with a $6 Zebco that unspools every other throw.
New battery cable assembly with 4 terminations; I assume the cable with the dual connected brown plastic keeper ends goes to the starter posts, and one u-shaped flat brown wire connector goes to the silver post in photo 2. Can someone inform my new guy fanny where the 4th (red wire ring connector end) goes?

Just wish my "certified reproduction" seller had of sold me one with the correct tan/brown wire like yours!

hopefully your reproduction terminal lasts longer than mine did ! Bought a cable and less than a year later the car wouldn't start, starter just clicked. Turned out the cable end corroded inside the molded terminal. Cut the end off, cut the cable back and installed a $5 terminal.... been good ever since !

No pic available (at this time), but I moved battery to trunk 30+ yrs ago; choppped cable close to batt & new terminals added& bolted together. Still have OE wire to starter relay.(fingers crossed)

LOL... I just take lots of pictures ironbuilt! Easier than trying to explain things. Been wrenching on Mopars since I was 12 or 13.. so that's 44 years to date.

Yeah, the repop cables are junk. I had the same issue

eric make sure you clean your bulk head area with electronic liquid spray and add a little grease in connectors to keep corrosion and water out of bulkhead.

Thanks to all for the inputs, recommendations, and PHOTO! I'm a crayon and photo kind of guy. Still working a "no start-no crank" issue chasing down grounds n' gremlins, but I'm making progress one wire at a time.
