440 4bbl manual transmission. E-90 Has anyone tried using this fuel yet ? We have it at most gas stations here in FL. But wanted to see if there might be a downside to using it. My thoughts are it has to be better than the 93 octane with "10%"ethanol .

Im also in the arm pit state. I use it in all my old stuff.
I wrecked a brand new Speed Demon carb after it sat with Ethanol 93 in it for 6 months. Everything inside the carb was green and gunky.

73 Scout with a 258, holley 1 barrel. Had all the parts for a rebuild, so I topped the tank off with e85. I think it was $1 per gallon cheaper at that time. Burned some and topped it off again, over and over. Finally running on what must have been e85. Couldn't see any difference. That was summer time, cold may affect starting. All gas IH's are built to run on propane or gasoline.

I think there might be a fundamental misunderstanding here. E-85 and E 98 are mostly ethanol, and that's what I thought your E-90 was. Google says it's alcohol-free. Here on the west coast there is no such thing, short of race gas at $8.50 up/gal.
Fortunately I looked up your fuel you were asking about before I made a stupid comment.
If you use your old car daily, it might not be a problem, but if I had access to ethanol-free, I would sure use it in an old car that's sits.

REC-90 is an ethanol-free, 90 octane unleaded gasoline blend designed for use in recreational/marine engines which can be damaged by the ethanol found in other gasoline blends. It is also usable in some aviation engines and automotive engines
Sounds good to me, but low on octane compared to the 93 octane no ethanol premium gas I get by my house and close to the 1320 as well. When regular 87 octane 10% ethanol gasoline is around $2.50/gallon, the 93 octane no ethanol premium is around $3.79/gallon and I'm happy to have it!

I put in my helllcat every year when i store it for the winter, good for boats that sit all winter here in the frozen north lots of lakes around here that fuel is popping up in gas station all around, no ethanol. i paid about 3.50 a gal a month ago probably cheaper now since gas prices are falling

Use the REC fuel. Every engine at my house with a carb gets it. I use it in the Coronet with an octane booster to get about 94 octane. Purrs like a kitten and burns clean. All of my small engines(ATVs,generators, chainsaws, weed whackers, etc) fire on the first half turn or pull. Its cheaper than TRU-Fuel at 20 bucks a gallon. In my area I pay 3.50-3.75 per gallon for REC. Worth every penny.

The store I get the 93 octane no ethanol premium from also sells 87 octane no ethanol. They only sell those 2 non ethanol fuels and diesel.
I'm sure being the last gas station closest to a couple of boat launches is a big factor, and there are some big yards and pieces of property around here, so lots of yard equipment too.
I use Sta-Bil MARINE 360 every time I have to use 10% ethanol in anything other than our 2 new vehicles, and I use it even with no ethanol fuel when I put away gasoline powered items for the winter (all 3 weeks of it :) )
