Production Numbers 824 Total Convertibles made; 429 with 383/Auto and only 122 with A/C. Runs very well. Engine is correct date coded but not the original motor…got replaced somewhere down the line.
History: Originally ordered & bought in Florida (so I was told) bought and brought up to Sarnia Canada in the late 90’s., “restored” in 2002-03; I bought the car in 2012.
Added power windows, aftermarket stereo system, exhaust system and Semi-Custom Interior, etc… added since I have owned it..
Under carriage very clean. Recent replacement of front suspension/steering parts plus the power steering box and exhaust system.
Runs, Rides and steers great.
See list below of all parts changed or added and extra items/parts included with the sale.
Exterior Burnt Orange; Interior “Semi-Custom” Black with stock patterns with Burnt Orange panels, piping & stitching. Aftermarket stereo system.
All gauges work. The only issue is the heater & A/C. Blower fan does work (tested it) but does not come on with the fan switch so that needs to be corrected (suspect wiring issue behind the dash). A/C compressor and condenser in place, system needs hoses, etc…. (was going to be my next project with this car).
