Easy add-on to make points and condensers last indefinitely.

Hi fellas,
I found this article in Farm Show Vol. 42, No. 5 and wanted to share. Dale Colvert at Overnight Solutions LLC, P.O. Box3004, Merton, Wis., 53056 has developed the Transdenser II, a condenser sized, relay type device that fastens to the ignition coil. It reduces current across breaker points from 3 amps to about 160mA virtually stopping erosion of the contacts.
For owners who want to retain breaker point ignition systems this should make you happy!

Sounds interesting, thanks!

What I can tell it's for lawn and garden equipment.

Here's the link to the Transdenser II found under "products".

This has been on the Sport Satellite since the 70's. The points last until the plastic rubbing block wears down. The point contact surfaces never foul. It turns the points into a low voltage dry switch.
It REALLY works...no bullshit.

Also done with a basic MSD 6A. Points carry no voltage and are just a switching devise. But for ruffly $230 you can buy allot of points for a lifetime.

It reminds me of early CD ign systems that used a control unit to carry the coils primary load. The points just used a very small current to signal the box when to fire the coil. Ron

Now if someone could just invent a way to eliminate rubbing block wear......like a roller lifter.
