Need a power steering pulley for a 69 Coronet. Keyway type pulley. If someone has a good condition spare and is willing to let it go for a reasonable price please contact me. In the process of replacing pump I bent a pulley spoke just enough that it wobbles on the pump shaft. There’s quite a few new GM pulleys on Ebay that look very similar. Same keyway, same bore size, same diameter pulley. Not sure if the offset is nearly the same. But, believe the GM pulley will work. But, I’m only judging by pictures.

Check 440 Source?

Bouchion (spelling) they have pulleys

I bought mine there after losing it in my own garage..... never did find it either
Those rats are getting strong!......dragging away pulleys and such. Seriously, I've had that happen to me at least a dozen times...part disappears only to show up 3 yrs. later. I think it's "Bouchillon". www.440source.com also maybe? I think I paid about $90'ish new & I think I got mine from Bouchillon too(?) I only found about 2-3 vendors of that keyed pulley...not many.

I refuse to pay that much for a pulley. Im very stubborn. Until I find one at what I feel is more reasonably priced. I’ll go without power steering, lol ! I accept and understand parts are ridiculously priced for these cars. But, it wouldn’t be quite as bad if more people refused to be robbed. Especially in reference to reproduction parts.

Yeah...they ain't cheap. Maybe just see if you can find a used one on this site.....or maybe see if you can "massage" your current pulley back to being a little straighter?

Yeah, I’m going to give the old one a shot at repair. Usually those things are tuff to straighten out. I stuck a heavy duty ratchet in between the spokes and pump to keep the pulley from spinning while removing the nut. It’s so minimal that visibly you can’t see that anything’s bent. But, it wobbles bad enough on the old and new pump’s shaft. Didn’t wobble prior to my idiocy. A spoke is pushed in a tad enough to cause the wobble.

Initially my thoughts were, “I’ll never be able to straighten it out properly. “ But, thanks to PurpleBeeper and staring down the thought of having to spend $100 on a reproduction pulley because many originals just aren’t available. Those 3 things motivated me. Took several little attempts to get it right. But, she’s spinning now wobble free. It turns out, that these original spoked pulleys bend quite easily. Let my stupidity be a lesson to you guys, lol !
