I can appreciate the guys that love the 3rd gen B body cars but I am not a fan of them.
I have really tried to like them, especially because the 71 is identical to the interior of my long ago sold (but greatly loved) 71 Charger R/T. My biggest obstacle to liking them was somewhat apparent on my 71 Charger, BUT the bumper style and aero look of the Charger overcame the issues I have with the 71 and newer Satties, and that is the wide-assed "hips" and big ugly rear bumper.I can appreciate the guys that love the 3rd gen B body cars but I am not a fan of them.
thats a perfect description, esp with the factory original tires and wheels.A buddy said the stock ones look like a fat woman with really small feet.
I would really like to have the car and as for the work on it, no problem. The biggest issue I had was there is significant rust on the right rear frame and other locations, yes can be fix.I think in 10 years you'll look back and wish you had paid the $6500.
So it's only "worth" $4000. If you can handle the work and the car is not terrible, I'd go for it. If it's has rust issues then that's another story. Then again I love 318 A/C cars. If that car was in your driveway and someone drove by and offered you $6500, would you sell it?
