This is a tough question!
I think it depends on if I am going to actually watch a movie, or "watch" the movie(meaning it's on when company is over or something and we are visiting)
To actually watch I generally like national Lampoon, Christmas Story.... the classic comedy ones.
If company is around and I am only partly paying attention I actually like a couple newer ones, Elf and (of all things) Daddy's Home 2. The first one came out when my kids were younger and became a tradition, the second one I happened to watch much later and it has really grown on me. I don't even really like Daddy's Home, but add Christmas, John Lithgow and Mel Gibson in the second one and I found a lot of humor in it.
