Another couple hours of metal detecting yesterday. One of the items we found is the attached pic.

It is metal and somewhat heavy for its size (cast iron I'm guessing).

Any thoughts.

It's a cheese straightener!

So far I'm liking Viking Arrowhead. Boy would we have archeologist from all over the world camping in my yard if it can be proven Vikings made it as far as redneck middle Tennessee.

Show the picture over at junkyardchargers.com & say that it's from a 68-78 Charger and you will get lots of people praising you for saving another one.

My father was an avid fan of metal detecting and got me started. I got a cheap one for my birthday when I was a kid and found a dateless Standing Liberty Quarter in our front yard. I was 12 or so and it wowed me! Been collecting coins ever sense and still have that first one. It can be both fun and disappointing at times.

It's what is left of a 70 hemi Cuda after spending it's whole life in the state of Iowa.

I was gonna say a 68 charger barn find only 10 grand. you can get replacement metal from amd.
