I have collected several cruise control levers to make a clean one for my 1972 Charger. I have one oddball in my small collection and I am looking for someone to confirm the application. I suspect it is for a 1969-1972 C-Body or 1971-1972 B-Body w/tilt. The overall length of the lever is about 7".

That might be aftermarket cruise that a dealer installed. Dealers would put a cheaper accessory than Mopar part, but charge mopar price.

I believe your C body suspicions are correct, it appears identical to one I have from a 72 T & C wagon. Most C body Mopars w tilt column used a Saginaw column w wiring adapters to Chrysler harness.

I think you're right Demonic. I was "ball-parking" that as about a '70 c-body.

At least on the b-bodies, you can get some idea of the year 68/69/70 by the resume/on/off area & lettering/words & color of writing ??? (wish I could remember the exact differences). Also, the inner end of the lever looks "less angled" near the screw hole vs. b-body, which makes me think C-body. I think it looks like my 70 b-body one ("less angled"). And, don't the tilt-wheel levers screw in or something like that???

Here's what I know from various sources:
  1. It is not E-Body because the arms are silver, not chrome.
  2. I was told by another person that the tilt columns use a threaded attachment which supports PurpleBeeper.
I suspect it could be for a B-Body with a Tuff Wheel. The Tuff Wheel is smaller in diameter and is not dished like a standard 3 spoke wheel. This would explain the shortness and straightness of the arm.

That doesn't change between tuff wheel and standard wheels. Lever lenght is the same for both setups. Tuff wheel is not dished, but thats the reason for the spacer size this wheel uses
