In the center of the base plate on a 600 cfm Holley there is a small jet/orfice that provides vaccum (?) through a passage to the electric choke. I am removing the electric choke and going with no choke at all...should I plug this hole?

ddpsnake brings up a good point. Is there an easy way to install a vacuum nipple in the hole you'll no longer need with the electric choke removed? I can't think off the top of my head exactly what you'd use it for, but what the heck if you can just epoxy a nipple in the hole & just put a rubber cap on it?

Not really in a good spot to utilize the port.

Just go get a split shot out of your tackle box, and drive in the hole that your choke mated to.

If split shot is to big melt some solder to a proper sized ball.

You want a split shot that is a little too big. That way it seals perfectly, and then just trim the excess with an exacto knife.
