71 Super Bee that I took apart in March and finally got back to.
I painted engine compartment and the engine.
I have one more hole next to booster opening that I can't remember what to put in it??? Do I have all the other's in the right places also? Getting old is harder than I thought!!
Car is LA build non A/C 383 4 speed with a clock but previous owner did add Tach but I believe that goes through bulkhead.
Can't imagine I never noticed this hole open before.
Thanks in Advance and stay young!!!

Pretty sure that is where the concealed headlamp harness comes through on my 71. I can check when I get home a little latter.

And that's how must be on 71 and 74s per diagrams I have found. 72 and 73 did throught the firewall. And I can see a wire close the clutch pedal bracket which I think must be the ground safety switch signal to starter relay.

I'm trying to remember what else could go there

that kind of holes were opened just if car came with it... if not, then won't find hole there

Probably for the tach wire. There is a grommet for the single GR/Y wire to the coil neg terminal

this is weird, and I know this has being talked before, because a diagram I have shows the tach wire running throught the bulkhead

Somewhat off topic, but here goes:
I love that colour! My buddy has a ‘71 Bee that was originally that colour. He is genuinely, legally color blind. When he had his car painted he went with corvette yellow. He can’t understand my disappointment in his choice because, well, he’s colour blind.

Mine is the headlamp door wiring. Rubber grommet with three wires.

So far the clutch safety interlock is spoken for: GREEN next to inner fender.
Speedo cable spoken for
Reverse lights come out of bulkhead but then one goes back into car for reverse dash light
Tach is either that other one or through bulkhead
Can't for the life of mean know what the last hole is for and really doubt it was open before tear down because I've been under the dash when I first got the car to close up holes he had just left open.

I'm lost at the moment...

being off topic also ( more ) and being serious trying to help:

Thank you! I will pass this on to him.
I always knew he was colour blind, but the extent never really occurred to me until we were hunting, following a blood trail that looked like a bad time at O.J.’s house. He couldn’t see it.

The other two options I see in the manual that use a grommet are cruise control or a 60 amp alt. I don't have that lower hole. There is also a u shaped bracket mounted under the speed nut that supports the harness where it turns up into the main harness. Attached a pic of that for you reference.

Is it a ramcharger hood car?

Yes it is but all that stuff is on pass. side and all vacuum lines.

Did this car have a water shut off valve for stratovent? The cable for that could come through there.

Nope but that also would have been passenger side

Ron here is a factory tach wire that goes through the firewall but I can't remember what year 71-4 B-body it came from but it definitely came through the firewall... It was years ago and sitting with my tach clusters....
