Hey all.

Just recently picked up a 1971 Roadrunner. I've been on the hunt trying to find a piece of trim for the car. Can't seem to find it in any catalog I look in.

I need the trim piece that sits on the quarter glass and creates a seal between the door glass and the quarter glass. I've been searching around everywhere and just can't seem to find that particular piece. I thought maybe it might come with a new quarter glass, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If your looking for the stainless piece of metal, you will have to source a good used one as it is not sold as a reproduction part. If you are only needing the quarter glass seal, they are reproduced by Metro and the part number is VS 7-F.

eBay #362522487262. Quarter glass seals
Thanks for that. I'm looking for the entire piece. Chrome + Seal. I'll have to keep what you linked bookmarked, but it looks like the stock is almost out.

That's a killer. I didn't think they were in production since it's been such a struggle to find one.

Any suggestions where I might go to find such a piece second hand outside of just keeping my eyes peeled on Ebay?

Your best bet is finding one locally as if you go the route of having to purchase from one of the larger Mopar salvage yards, it is not going to be cheap and most will want you to purchase the piece of glass as well. I would post an ad here in the "Wanted to Buy" section and see if you get a response.

As for as Mopar salvage yards, you can contact one of the following and there are others as well, but AMS Obsolete or Stephens Performance are Mopar specific and will have it in stock from one of their salvage cars. Ebay or the Facebook sites are other avenues.

I'll give all of your recommendations a shot. Well, except for Facebook, I'm one of those anti-Facebook people.

Thanks for your help. Will update if I get anywhere. Beyond that, if anyone else has any direction for this, please share those as well.
