It is a driver during the summer and a project during the winter. Just pulled the engine out today so I can start on the to do list.

If I ever buy another one it will that year and model for sure. Love those. Looks badass with a 67 charger front grill and lights.

The RR is some what done, a few small issues of trunk rubber, dash paint, grille repaint when I get time. The Charger is stripped ready for body work which will be rear quarters, some areas around rear and front windows, tail valance replace, tubbing of rear plus the US Car Tool stiffening kit. And smooth firewall.

I was working on my '65 and a buddy stopped by to work on his '67 GTX. Both cars are drivers. The Duster in the background is the Car Craft Dustbin Duster project car.

"In progress" but its on the road. It was my goal to get all the mechanics done and have it roadworthy. Last time it was registered was 1980. She got her papers and a tag in March and gained 700 miles. Somebody else can do the paint after I'm gone. They're never really "finished" are they?

I totally agree.

In progress, I guess about 70 percent there, needs paint finished and reassembly.

IN progress, it runs, it drives, it is complete, but I want to drive it on the street.

It spent its entire life on the drag strip, so I am working to get it more street friendly, so the winter projects are as follows;
1) Swap out slick shifted transmission with fresh rebuilt date correct, and put stock fly wheel, clutch, bell housing, and starter.
2) Remove headers and install stock exhaust manifolds.
3)Remove electric fuel pump and replace fuel lines and install mechanical pump.
4) Have carburetors restored to stock.
5) Change 4:56 gear to stock 3:54.
I think this will keep me busy until it warms up here in Michigan.

I guess mine will always be classified as "in progress"....I drive and enjoy my car year round, (unless it's wet/rainy). Some very minor body work and a paint job would put the car in the 'done' category, but that costs much more than I can forsee being able to shell out for anytime soon. Wish I could do that stuff myself...but hey isn't 'ratty muscle' in style hahahaa!

Interior's alright, found these late-model(dodge) seats that happened to kinda match the existing grayish rear seat covering..I plan to recover them in a more factory looking green someday(yes green!) They are comfy..
