I am using a MSD6 and will be using a msd 2 step box it looks like one side plugs into the rev chip slot and one is for power where would the other wire I'm assuming its the trigger circuit go to

Yes, the plug goes into the rev limiter chip hole(s). Basically, this gives you two rev limiters. One is on all the time & when power is sent to the 2-step, it changes your rev limiter to the 2nd chip on the 2-step. It's mainly used when drag racing & can be wired into a stand-alone switch or into a trans brake switch. It will allow you to floor the pedal at the starting line (with the 2-step activated) & hold the engine at your "launch rpm" until you let go of the button.

I have a MSD 2-step which I haven't installed yet. I'm planning to wire it together with my line-lock (4-speed car).
