my driver side mirror remote is getting stuck in my window. I can’t find the correct routing in my service manual. Any advice on how to route it?

All I've done is to angle the adjustment cables towards the back of the door (from the mirror). I believe they came factory with a plastic hose over the cables, so maybe if yours is missing you could just split a hose lengthwise & slip it over them?

The factory had one or two plastic clips inside the
door frame that routed the cable a little toward the front before making a u-turn and coming back to the mirror. That way it stays clear of the window glass.

Hey Dibbons, do you have a picture of one of those clips and/or where it's attached? I have a remote mirror on mine, but it's not original. I'd like to prevent any "hang up" problems if I can. This is the first I'm hearing of those clips.

I actually still have my clips attached. I can send you pictures tomorrow. I just wasn’t sure where they went and i can’t seem to find any diagrams.

Any diagrams or ideas on how it runs around the glass?

You will find a hole in the front of the door shell one clip fits into, the second clip goes into another hole between the fist location and the control mounting location. The clips hold the cables out of the windows way.

If you can't find the correct clips, I just used a zip tie, through that hole in the front of the door, around the cable, then back through the hole.

The head of the tie was big enough to keep it from falling in the hole.
