New to Chrysler and the forum!

I almost bought a 67 gs 340 about 25 years ago.
Had that space ship looking air cleaner.
I see it every now and than around here.

While I still had my first Mopar- 66 Coronet, I also had a 72 skylark, and my mom had a 71 lesabre.
It was a clean car, but not as fun or comfortable (despite puffier seats) as my Coronets.
A kid down the street had a 70 skylark and was building a gsx clone (back in the mid 80's)

Nice, yeah you can see this was a non-GS without the cleaner. They were still all really optioned out though. PS, PB, AC, PW F/R, Rear defroster, Radio. I really wanted one of those "Star Wars" air cleaners hah. Spent some time looking for one but couldn't justify the $800+ they seem to be going for now. I wanted to take out the high beams and run snorkels into the inlets on it to do a vintage drag thing.

David, welcome too the roundtable and let me echo the Thanks for posting pics of your Coronet so soon outta the gate.. Looks like you found a keeper.

Welcome to the site, from the show me state and that you did!! It sure cleaned up well!!

Thanks all! Yeah, this one speaks to me. I feel like it's working with me to get itself fixed up hah. Or maybe Chryslers are just easier than I imagined :)

Welcome from North Carolina. I am in Greensboro, where in NC are you?

Good deal, I'm east side of Durham. Straight shot over from 40/85. Ever go to Cars and Coffee around here? There's a ton with some cool stuff that shows up

Welcome to the site! From one Coronet guy to another - Very Nice!! Looks like a fun driver and great project to work on while you enjoy.
