This is all new to me. I can't find any reproduction floor for this area. Mine has rust holes, picture attached. Can these be welded up? At what point does one replace the metal? Would I need a bead roller to start if I need to replace? Any suggestions?

Swiss cheese is tough to fill and is probably pretty thin around every single hole. I'm pretty sure they sell 71-2 B body rear floor pans that may work as a factory style patch panel.

Have yet to see reproduction floor panels for under the rear seat. I’d be looking for donor used panels, way too much time to hand make those contours.

It's under the seat. Never to be seen again, (until you take the seat back out!) Fab some flat steel and weld it in. Very easy to make.

Unless of course it's a "show car" and people will be crawling under it to judge it.

never thought of that, thank you

thanks for all the responses.
Well I'm going to try my hand a patching. A lot of work here shaping. Still not sure if I'll invest in a bead roller for this project. My skill at this will give me an idea on where to go with the rest.

Looks great. Now if you have a piece of hardwood, carve a groove into it about the same shape as the beads. Lay your patch on it and hammer the lines into it!

you know I was actually thinking of something like that.

...or have a male and female set and use a vice or press
