well it had a 440 with performance alu heads, hot cam, intake and a bloody 4 speed with high rear gears so yea prob going fast ,dont remember the night as i suffered a 3 degree head injury and aye

I have a '73 440 with vented hood, I also have a hood from a '74 400 car and it is vented.

My friend was teeboned in his 73 Road Runner on the passengers side. The passengers side door was against the drivers seat. Had his girl or anybody been in the car they would be dead! These cars have no side impact protection what so ever. You could stand where the passengers seat was with your feet on the ground. There was a 69 Charger on Dodge Charger. com that took the same kind of hit and it was just as bad.

So good to hear that you are OK. That's one hell of a crash.

I lost my 1st Mopar in a bad crash so I feel for you there. An illegal pulled right out in front of me and I broadsided her at 50+. It stuffed me up under the passenger side dash an scarred me up pretty good. I still have the scars and am still building Mopars so I'm not easily beat. I'm sure you'll be the same way. Best of luck to you.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but i was just puzzled it was listed as a 74, but 74 RR didn't have the grill on the rear of the hood.

Time to find a new mopar!!!!

Puzzled? You do know that a 73 hood is the same hood dimensions and fits a 74 with the same 4 bolts and maybe the hood was changed at some point in the last 43 years doesn't mean it's not a 74 model........

Now that that is out of the way...Glad you survived that wreck!

Congrats on the stand....Beautiful color!

Good to see you back.....
