I ordered a Metro Moulded AP25-D gas pedal in September thru Summit, which I have yet to receive.

This is shipped from the manufacturer. I receive an email from Summit every few months extending the shipping date.

Is this another 62-65 part that is made by one company and is going extinct?

Has anyone else purchased a new one thru another supplier?

I have found with other parts that multiple supplier list a part, you can put it in 'your cart,' pay for it, receive a confirm, and it's not in stock.
I typically call first, however when I purchased this pedal not only was it listed cheaper than it is today, the shipping date was listed as 'Today.'

I found mine, new, at a car show/swap meet a few years ago the guy was selling a lot of pedals. I'd guess they're available might ask our forum commander, Joe Suchy..

vans auto on ebay sent mine with the nuts in 3 days a month ago....

I would call them and ask where it is, see what they try to tell you. If they say something like "we dont know when this will ship" then I'd say ask for a refund and buy it somewhere else. I think they are avaliable but maybe the manufacturer stopped producing them (or hasn't made a new batch yet) and that particular vendor (summit) has run out and is having trouble getting more atm.

Got it, vansautollc.

Evan, your inbox is full, if you have a 9 passenger wagon please post a pic of the rear seat compartment handle. Mine is busted, it appears to be a 1 year only, and I need to know what I'm looking for exactly.

Currently the battery is out of my car and wiring is disconnected while I'm finishing up assembly since finishing rust repair in cowl area. Once I get that done in the next couple days I'll be able to get that picture for you (can't roll down rear window without power.) I also know a member on here who probably has the handle you need---he's got a bunch of 64 dodge wagon's he's parting out. I've bought a few things from him. Patspolara

Received a tracking # early this am.
15 weeks to the day.
Not a big deal, good thing I forgot to cancel it yesterday.

So now I'm torn on the install.

I installed a new carpet.
Gas pedal requires a section of the carpet, along with the upper right corner of the sewn in rubber pad, to be cut out.
I know the threads under the floor are used to hold a bracket or two, but I already secured those items, speedo maybe, and something else I can't recall.

Is that how everyone is installing these?
