Vibration at idle and at speed

Take care of that puppy, they're really special!

My friend's, loves to ride in my truck!

Khrystlerkid's post reminds me of my old stock radiator fan, it had a missing blade and a missing bolt. When I removed it I noticed it was uneven by design on top of it all. (Externally balanced LA360 engine?) I replaced it with an aftermarket aluminum one felt the difference in smoothness immediately.

Oh for sure. She is a Dachshund and it was the dreaded back issue they almost all have. She is doing laser therapy and so far the results are amazing. We might be looking at surgery to the tune of $3000 but so far the vet said that if it was his dog this (the laser therapy) is what he would do, so we'll just have to wait and see.

This is Claire with her goggles on (everyone wears them during the treatment), she looked pretty stylin'!

Good call, never once thought of the fan being the culprit!

Since it's a 4 speed car, if you get to the hard part of the diagnosing, you can pull the trans, and leave the bellhousing in place. Start the car. If the vibration is still there, it's in the engine/ flywheel. If not, it's the trans. I had a 4 speed that had a vibration in it. I'm guessing it was a bearing. I sold it and kept my automatic. Maybe you can see the side of the flywheel towards the engine. Look for part numbers, or large balancing pad. Good luck with your dogs treatments.
