440 rv motor in a 66coronet

I've got a 78 440 and the dipstick I got with it doesn't fit through the tube down to the pan I'm thinking it's an RV motor and the dipstick tube is a little funky to have a milodon oil pan under it what do you think and maybe that dipstick would be a different length?

I had to shape the end of my dipstick to more of a point to get it to go past the pan rail. Just a thought.
