What did you do to your Mopar today?

Had an opportunity to reunite with my old GTX today....replaced the rear wheel brake cylinders and shoes for the new owner. He was having the paintwork freshened up...cut & polish. Comes up a treat - 20 year old lacquer job still drops jaws.

All for charity....well...not really - I did get to take the car for another run afterwards.
It was like revisiting an old girlfriend.....

I lost my Coyote when I sold the car...silly me for leaving him in the back seat.

He looks happy. :D

Working out in the driveway on an unseasonably warm day, I switched the worn out 1 bbl on the 1955 Plymouth Plaza Suburban for a progressive 2 bbl with electric choke. Unfortunately, by the time I finished the swap, it was getting dark and cold. Now, it's very cold and there's about 6" of snow on the car. So, it'll sit for a while before I mess with getting it running on the new carb.

Ordered a new, white convertible top for the e-body. Couldn't find a dark-green cloth top, that didn't have a blue hue to it. Oh well, back to how it was built.

Top pic was for the wife. She always called it the “super shelf” because of stuff piled on it!

One of my friends had a 70 Road Runner that never did run and drive.

We called it the "Driveway Sitter".

Not today, but Friday, I did the brakes on my
99 Dakota SLT 4x4, just under 60k now

wet & rainy here, I'm sort of bummed out
can't wait for the storm to head east,
get back to nice sunny/warmer days
let mother-nature dump on everyone else :poke:

Time to tape it off, paint and hold my breath wiping the DODGE clean ! 21 hours - 45 minutes to achieve this stage and I wasn't napping...

I don't even really like to do that "necessary evil" type of work in 1/25th scale.

Just finishing a 67 dash cluster clean up. Had my original cluster cover damaged in a house fire years ago, been running a 66 cover for years, and it was time. All the vacuum chrome finish had worn off. Hit it with a bit of chrome in a can, spent a bit of time detailing it, and I'm good to go. Next week, a few carburetor upgrades, to knock off the list, and maybe, some paint on my spoiler........
