We had an earthquake (tremor) and flash flood warnings today. Not a typical SJ day.

If 0*F is a actual temperature, how can it be measured when 0=nothing, zip, zero, nada? And if that's the case then how can and do you measure something that's even less then zero?

They both meet at - 40, that's neat. It's been so warm in Colorado Springs. On a sunny day, even with snow on the ground it can be quite warm, but you know this if you've been out here skiing. It has to do with our elevation. Some would be pretty sick visiting me. We are at 7250'.
I've seen some serious sun burns on the ski slopes.

  • 0°C is the freezing point of water (or more accurately the melting point of ice) and it is 32°F

Where in Sinaloa, Mazatlán? always a beautiful beach and the women omg the women in Sinaloa - las buchonas- check for those.:D
Yes, my friend owns a place in Mazatlan, just down the beach from the big Riu resort in Cerritos. I don’t do the typical tourist resort thing, I just go there and live. Love the weather, food, and people. Mexicans are very much like Canadians and I mean that as a compliment.

You might want to start heading there now.

I always go in March, gives me something to look forward to on days like this. Plus we hate leaving the house unattended on truly cold days. Even with someone looking in on it freezing can happen quickly if the furnace quits. Several years ago we went on vacation in February. Had a neighbor look in on the house. We come home at 1100PM on a Sunday to find our house to be -22F inside. Burst 14 pipes, exploded every glass jar, killed every plant, and then flooded the place when it warmed up and the burst pipes cut loose.

No thanks

you can keep that ****

balmy 50*+ Fahrenheit & warming here

I didn't mind the cold much when I was younger
now I like it warm or at a min. above 32*'s = Freezing

Not much else to say. That’s not rounded off to make it seem worse, not windchill, not “back in 1957 when I was a kid in Wisconsin”, but right here, right now.

Jeez, and here I am thinking 4C (39F in real temperature) sucks.
