HI just saying hello.I have a 1970 dodge coronet super bee 383 4 speed.I have just got a intake part no 1827899-1 that takes a pair of carbs. The engine is standard with hooker headers. What are your thoughts on the carbs I am told edelbrock 500 cfm or 625 cfm I may want to add a cam later. This is just a show and crusing car not track.Any help please.

hello from snowy new york state
thats a very good looking car you have there.

as far as the dual carbs go,if you really are just looking for a street cruiser,
dual 4 barrels arent exactly applicable.
the most they will do for you,is look cool.
can you afford the gas they will suck down,
considering how much they overcharge you brits for gas as it is?
and the tuning has to be precise, everything has to be perfect.
honestly, dual carbs will probably not make you that happy in the end.
just m.o.

Not sure your budget, but efi is nice for daily drive ease of use. Long road though. Don’t believe plug and play. Pick wisely, treat kindly.

Nice Bee! There's definitely some B roads that would require some skills to navigate in that.

Agree with Dennis here....with some mods to your fuel tank, lines and an EFI unit, you'll get better gas mileage as well as a better time driving the car. Twin 4BBL will be a nightmare on the UK roads. Drag racing is only a small part of enjoying that car so choose wisely. I personally have a Holley Sniper on a stroked 360 (408) ...and it is the ducks nuts as far as reliability and drive-ability goes. Way better than any carb would do for my driving.

BTW....Welcome to FBBO from the Antipodes.

Welcome from NW CT USA. Nice looking 'Bee...

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

if you do, go the dual 4's 'use the smaller cfm carbs'
& progressive linkage
you'll also need a good hot ignition (electronic)
& hotter coil
& low ohm resistance sparkplug wires
to help optimize the output, help burn the fuel completely too
